 Philip Levens is a gifted TV author, maker, and showrunner. He experienced childhood in up in Lubbock, Texas, and went to The University of Texas in Austin before moving to Los Angeles. In October 2014, CBC reported that the debut date had been moved to January 2015. 

The show began airing on CBC on Monday evenings beginning February 9, 2015. Syfy had initially reported designs to make a big appearance the show on November 24, 2014, airing one scene for every week for six weeks. Instead, the arrangement debuted on December 15, 2014, airing one part comprising of two scenes every night for three sequential nights.
